When does registration start? Registration is open for 2025!
How much does it cost? Early bird prices until Feb 28th. Tball-$80, Rookie-$120, Mosquito-$145, Peewee-$145, Bantam-$155, Midget-$155. Please reach out to us if funding is a concern. We may be able to help! Prices increase March 1st so don't delay
What division will my child play in? T-Ball 2019-2021, Rookie 2016-2018, Mosquito 2014-2015, PeeWee 2012-2013 Bantam 2010-2011, Midget 2006-2009. Girls are able to play down a division. You can request that your child play up a division. An assessment may be required to ensure appropriateness and player safety
How many games a week will we play? Typically 2 games a week. One home and one away. Your home game is always on the same night each week. Your away games will depend on the center you are playing.
What day will I play? This is almost impossible to answer until registration is closed. It is very dependent on diamond availablity and the number of teams we can field. You can always put a preferred day on your registration form but we can't guarentee. There are no regular season games scheduled on weekends. Year end tournaments will take place over the period of a week with the finals being held on a weekend.
Where will we play? For all divisions, except Tball, we play in Trenton, Brighton, Belleville, Wellington and Warkworth. For the 2025 season this is dependent on how many teams the different centers can field. Help promote the Quinte Baseball League by sharing this website!
How many practices per week? That decision is left up to the coach
When does the season start? Typically we start the week after the May long weekend. We have to have approval from the City of Quinte West to use the fields. This is based on weather and diamond conditions
Are rain dates made up? The decisions regarding cancellations due to weather is made by the City of Quinte West. They let the executive know by 4pm if they are cancelling. We completely understand this as we have to protect our beautiful fields. Unfortunately it is very difficult to reschedule cancelled games due to diamond availabilty and demand as there are lots of teams in amateur and rep ball who require diamond time. Every attempt is made to make up games.
Can girls play? Absolutely, there are girls who play in every division of QWABA. Girls are able to play one divison below their age group.
Can I request a certain team/coach? This MUST be put on your registration forms recognizing that the request CANNOT be guarenteed. Requests will be void if not put on registration form
What do we need to play? All you need to provide is a helmet, glove, jock/jill, cleates, black pants and most importantly a good attitude.
Do you need volunteers? We are always looking for volunteers to help out with tournaments, our Pitch Hit and Run competitions and coaching. Please contact any member of the executive committee if you are interested in helping us out. Coaches will need to have a current police check on file.
What is the required uniform? Each player will receive a baseball shirt and hat which they will be required to wear to each game and they will keep at the end of the year.
Shirts cannot be returned.
